Club life

The Lapalisse Flying Club, a non-profit association under the French law of 1901, was founded in 1944. It has been operating at the Lapalisse-Périgny Aerodrome since 1978. We have two aircraft, a three-seater DR400/120 and a two-seater FK9 microlight. Because we practice both activities (airplane and microlight), our members contribute to either the French Aeronautical Federation or the French Ultra Light Motorized Federation. The Lapalisse Flying Club also manages two hangars and a workshop, which can house the club's or private aircraft. The workshop, run by experienced enthusiasts, handles constructions or repairs. Mechanical work is carried out by a specialized and approved workshop also located at the Aerodrome.

When the BB Jodel becomes a microlight

The BB Jodel dates back to 1947. Lapalisse enthusiasts restored this legendary little plane and have been flying this new microlight for their greatest pleasure since 2011.
